Atlanta is indeed among the most popular cities in the South because it's where the Civil Rights Movement was born, and two of the world's top industries Coca-Cola and CNN have their headquarters. Credit to its rich culture and continuous urban growth, tourists have turned to Atlanta for bargain vacation deals.

Discovering the City

As Georgia's capital city, Atlanta is the center for business and government. And over the years, it has seen tremendous success that is evident with the unearthing of several skyscrapers, restaurants, shops and business all throughout. Much has been said about the cultural and historical past of Atlanta, so here's your chance to this cultural marvel at either the High Museum of Art, or the Fernbank Museum of Natural History. Here you can find marvelous works of art such as Picasso's and some other architectural marvel. With Fernbank Museum of Natural History, you can enjoy various film viewing in its IMAX theater.

There are also several sporting events in Atlanta that the entire city always looks forward to. What about checking out the Atlanta Braves in Turner Field, or NFL's Falcons at the Georgia Dome, or NBA's Atlanta Hawks at the Phillips Arena? A single tour would cost to as much as $9 but often times they are done free of any charge as well, so do take advantage!

When it comes to fulfilling your appetite, several of Atlanta's culinary landmarks offer a sumptuous meal for but still kind on your wallet. Now, you will never be able to deprive yourself of such treat as Mary Mac's Tea Room, or Fat Matt's Rib Shack, before they are not just healthy on your appetite but on your budget as well.

When it comes to value for your money, Atlanta's deep discounts and affordable treats makes it top the list of places to visit, not just in Georgia but the rest of the country as well. With its rich culture and natural wonders, it is definitely a great bargain!
